The bent rack has been removed following the report at #177377, the bikes that were on it have been stacked against the remaining rack.

Accumulated mud has left only a narrow stretch of this shared use cycleway available.

This mini flint axe was the cause of a puncture.

Wonder why no-one is choosing to use this cycle rack čĄö Deangate, York They need protection with bollards like #176315 in Cambridge.

Friedhofsweg has a car-centric layout with terrible, 1960s pavement cycleways.

Nedderend is a quiet, residential street. It has an under path for pedestrians and cyclists underneath the railway track to Wilhelmshaven, making it a very popular route with cyclists.

Residential side roads off Babenend.

Disused bus stop on Rauhehorst at Nedderend should provide cycleway link to Babenend with a counter-flow.

Road environment on Babenend.

Babenend is a quiet, residential street, leading to Mittelweg and the new residential development Fliegerhorst, Oldenburg.

Rauhehorst at Babenend has an environment hostile to cyclists.

The missing link between Babenend and Nedderend.

A truly hostile road environment on Rauhehorst under the A293 motorway and between Babenend and Vahlenhorst..

As the A293 under path at the railway track has been lost, the city should construct a counter-flow segregated cycleway on the north-eastern side to connect Babenend with Nedderend. The carriageway on Rauhehorst here is 11 metres wide.

The link between Nedderend and Babenend is now missing. We need an under path underneath the A293 motorway.

R├╝thningstra├če is a narrow, residential street.

Wardenburg Stra├če is a popular cycling route. Parking cars on both kerb cause conflicts.

Barriers across the cycle path to Silverburn, to stop people going straight out onto the road where drivers can't even avoid hitting the signs. Again, no traffic control to help people cross the road, just a traffic island.

Parking spaces taken for cycle stands and car club parking. The bollards help reduce damage from motor vehicles like happened to #177672 in York.

  • Icon 177715 Old railway track with no right of way would make a safe path for people to walk cycle between cressage and Cound.
  • Icon 177714 There is no pavement on Sutton bank for safe passage to Coalport
  • Icon 177713 There is no safe path/road to cycle between Hanwood and Shrewsbury due to narrow roads and it is extremely dangerous trying to cross the A5 by foot or cycle to get into Shrewsbury. An underpass/flyover would be great!
  • Icon 177710 The footpath becomes significantly narrower due to mud run-off from the adjacent field. A footpath is already in situ, but becomes very narrow, forcing pedestrians to walk closer to the road, passing fast traffic and heavy lorries. It is too narrow for single buggies and wheelchairs.
  • Icon 177709 The path between Cruckmeole and Hanwood school loses width due to mud run-off from the adjacent fields. The path is too narrow for the safe use by 2 people walking abreast, or a buggy or wheelchair use. This narrowed path forces pedestrians to walk closer to the kerb, passing heavy lorries from Minsterley area and fast traffic.
  • Icon 177708 Cycleway needed. No safe way to travel into town.
  • Icon 177707 Pathway and cycle route towards Meole Brace to reduce congestion. Hanwood has no safe route by foot into town so more cars used. This would save on congestion.

  • Icon 177704 Walking and cycling route towards the hospital. Connecting Hanwood, Pontesbury, Minsterley area
